RAGE, ABUSE AND BOUNDARIES

it's just what you do
when you've let others control you
God gave it to man
as part of the plan

imagine a cat
caged in a pen
hit with a bat
by mean old men
cornered and hit
the cat then just bit
but it did what was right
it raged and did fight

it's the same with us
cuz rage is a plus
when you need it to use
on those who abuse

but better than that
unlike the caged cat
you have a choice
to use your voice
and to walk away
instead of stay

but it's the ones who let
the men forget
by staying around
though knocked to the ground
these enablers are
just mounting up scars

nothing will change
unless you decide
to rearrange
your precious hide
see rage won't come out
when boundaries aren't crossed
no more need to pout
no more is lost

but as long as you stay
you teach them it's okay
and set yourself up
for them just to slay
and in this case
you must just go away
then perhaps they will learn
the nice way to play
